Whimsical Data Generation without Data Silo-Fication

Taking notes and/or expressing points of view on a whim is a fundamental human characteristic. What we refer to as Data is nothing but a reusable mechanism for capturing and exchanging observations -- from our individual perspectives.

Here are some links that demonstrate generation of 5-Star Linked Open Data (i.e., data constructed in web-like form via incorporation of HTTP based Hyperlinks) from RDF Language based sentences that have been embedded in various social media posts.

It's important to note that I am creating new data that isn't confined to a data-silo, as and when I see fit, while also leveraging time-tested patterns and tools that include:

  1. Use of Identifiers (signs) to Identify things -- e.g., whatever I am describing in my notes
  2. Controlled Natural Language Sentences -- basically what RDF Language is all (once you forget the sad and distracting misconception that it is a format) i.e., the ability to string signs together in a systematic way via grammar rules (subject, predicate, object structural arrangement) and parts of speech role semantics (meaning of subject, predicate, object roles)
  3. Document create, save, and share --  e.g., post is a document, my embedded notes (annotations or micro-annotations [nanotations]) are just additional content understood by an RDF Language processor (exemplified by our URIBurner service) .

Here are links to social media posts into which I've inserted RDF Language based sentences:

Here are my live demo links showcasing how the posts above have become the basis for Linked Open Data creation:
