DBpedia is critical component of the Linked Open Data cloud that's comprised of:
- RDF Datasets generated from Wikipedia content transformation
- SPARQL Language based Web Query Service (a/k/a SPARQL Endpoint) that provides live ad-hoc query access to any Web Client (browsers, bots, various purpose-specific HTTP applications and services etc..)
- Linked Data Pages (generated dynamically) that enable any HTTP client (user agent) to lookup (de-reference) what each DBpedia URI identifies -- actual content is delivered in a wide variety of negotiable data serialization formats.
Hopefully, we can produce these reports on a quarterly, and then monthly basis going forward.
