Derived from Wikipedia, the English version of the DBpedia knowledge base (a Web-accessible knowledge graph) currently describes 5.9 million things out of which 4.3 million have abstracts, 452,000 have geo coordinates and 1.45 million have depictions. In total, 4 million resources are classified in a consistent ontological structure that consists of 2.06 million people, 682,000 places (including 455,000 populated places), 376, 000 creative works (including 92,000 music albums, 90,000 films and 17,000 video games), 188,000 organizations (including 51,000 companies and 33,000 educational institutions), 278,000 species and 5,000 diseases. The total number of resources in English DBpedia is 15.3 million that, besides the aforementioned 5.9 million resource types already mentioned, includes 1.2 million concepts (categories), 6.83 million redirect pages, 256,000 disambiguation pages and 1.13 million intermediate nodes.
