text	Very insightful post that touches on the kinds of issues addressed by the Semantic Web meme which is about revealing the Web as an HTTP-based Entity Relationship Graph where the semantics of relationship types (relations) are both human- and machine -comprehensible. Fundamentally, the underlying model is based on Logic (i.e., everything exists in relation to something else, in a variety of ways) as the model or conceptual schema. Experiencing the Web (or any other HTTP-based network) as a knowledgebase or distributed deductive database is possible via RDF Abstract Language which uses familiar subject->predicate->object sentences structure for encoding and decoding information, using a variety of notations. Although still generally misunderstood, the notion of a Semantic Web is all about creating a massive knowledge substrate that will power a new generation of Smart Agents. Increasingly, Smart Agents will lean towards being able to Reason & Infer rather than taking the brute-force approach of machine-learning and "black-box algorithms".
