Jie Bao - Expressive Query Answering For Semantic Wikis
Semantic MediaWiki (SMW) is a popular semantic wiki platform that provides both modeling and query capacity of semantic annotations. This talk will introduce an expressive extension to SMW, SemanticQueryRDFS++. The extension is based on query rewriting from SMW scripts to logic programs. It provides a set of extra modeling and querying features frequently needed in many applications, including:
* negation and cardinality in query
* inverse property in modeling
* transitive, functional, inverse functional, symmetric properties in modeling
* domain and range inference for properties in modeling
For details, please see http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SemanticQueryRDFS++ and http://www.slideshare.net/baojie_iowa/expressive-query-answering-for-semantic-wikis
